Intrigued by the overgrown bush behind the “For Sale” board, owners Eugene and Zena Labuschagne phoned the agents to view the 7 acre property.  Love at first sight of what must have been original untamed Johannesburg bushveld saw them signing an offer to purchase.  But once having acquired the property they asked “what do we do with the land?” The answer came when a long time friend of Zena required new premises for her salon and so “Stepping Stones” was born.  Small shops for entrepreneurs needing to start businesses and once established could move on to larger space elsewhere.
